Whether you desire to become an Insights Discovery Client Practitioner, and work with Discovery within your own organisation, or you want to become an Insights Discovery Licensed Practitioner and use Discovery with your own external clients, the process to becoming accredited after you placed your registration in an IDA programme is similar. Please note, there is a different selection process for Licensed Practitioners versus Client Practitioners. For any clarification on the selection process, please speak with the Regional Office closest to you.
This initial introduction is a prerequisite to your attendance at the IDA workshop; to be permitted to attend the workshop, you have to complete this step. Questions regarding the registration process or the status of your registration can be addressed to registrar@insightsna.com or by contacting your Regional Office.
The journey to get accredited begins when a participant registers for the IDA course. Before you receive your Certificate of Accreditation, there are three steps:
In the initial email confirming your course registration, detailed instructions for pre-work are included. Pre-work takes approximately 6-8 hours to complete, and provides an introduction to the theories to be discussed in detail at the course.
The course post-work includes a Confirmation of Learning paper (a 20 question open-book paper), additional online learning modules, and a review discussion with your Learning Centre.
Once these steps are completed, you will receive a Certificate of Accreditation. And this is where the journey really begins! The Insights community in North America, and around the globe, is here to help you pursue your people development goals and maximize your investment in Insights.
What do I really get at the IDA course?
Participants leave the Insights Accreditation Workshop with an excellent working knowledge of the Insights Discovery System and everything required to facilitate Insights Workshops and use the Insights System and profiles. In addition to the accreditation course itself, extensive materials are provided, including:
Once you become an Accredited Insights Practitioner, you are able to use the Insights reports in a wide variety of ways within your organization, including coaching, workshops, seminars and more. You also have access to our library of Insights workbooks that can be used for the workshops you conduct.
